Post Grad

Graduation is a ways away for most of us, however, the future is fast approaching and it's important to try to think ahead.  Graduate schools are a great way to pave the way for a future career in something and are extremely important and necessary for some types of work.  The Career Department makes a great effort to get representatives from different schools to come present their credentials to us.  In the Alliot lobby the different schools set up tables with eager representatives ready to talk about the different programs available at their schools.  It's a great opportunity to start exploring possible grad schools and it's so incredibly convenient!  The fairs generally are from 11:00-1:00 in Alliot- right in time for lunch!
The Career Department also sends out some emails before the fair which include what schools will be present and what their programs are.  Here is a picture of the email we got and some of the programs available at the different schools!

Here is a somewhat blurry (sorry about that) version of the attachment we get in our emails.  It lists the different programs offered at each school and it's a great resource.  Unfortunately for me in this bunch of schools there weren't any that really fit the bill for my majors- Spanish and French- however, I hope that in the future I'll get the opportunity to go to other Graduate School Fairs that will offer schools that I am interested in.
